Bombay's main enter point - Mumbai Airport


Mumbai, it is discovered tourism city of seven Island. It is located at western coast of India by Arabian Sea. Formally Mumbai is known as Bombay and it is commercial capital of India as well as capital city of Maharashtra. It is largest and busiest city of India and third largest one in the world after New York and London.

Only Mumbai pay 40 % of India’s tax and half of India’s international trade passes through Mumbai. It has been divided into two districts such as North and South Mumbai. South Mumbai is home of high-powered magnificent structures, corporate offices, wide roads historical buildings, and hundreds of high rises. North Mumbai is home to giant residential areas, restaurants, multiplexes, malls high-tech corporate spaces and hip nightclubs.

Mumbai airport is the main entry point to India and it has handles average 25 million passengers every year. It was being lease to a private operator in 2006 and is also undergoing major renewal and upgrade. A new domestic terminal of Mumbai airport has been opened and its works are under construction in the international terminal. The faster immigration of airport and improved amenities, however expect some discomfort due to construction. T2, a new domestic and international terminal building, it is expected to be completed by 2013. Finally, the domestic and international terminals will be merged together, but the domestic terminal has being used for cargo airplane.
