Pune, education and IT hub of Maharashtra State


Pune is the eighth largest metropolis city across India, the second largest city in the Maharashtra state after Mumbai as well as it has largest one in the Western Ghats. Pune was become at once the center of power of the Maratha Empire, it is situated 560 meters above from sea level on the Deccan plateau at the inter-flow of Mula and Mutha rivers. Pune city is having administrative capital of Pune district. 



Today, Pune is called as for its educational facilities and relative prosperity. It is the cultural capital of Maharashtra state. Pune has being well established manufacturing like sugar, glass, and forging industries since the 1950-60. Pune has being a growing industrial hinterland, with many information technology as well as automotive companies located factories in Pune region. The Pune city is popular for its various cultural activities like spirituality, classical music, literature, theater and sports. These all activities and many job opportunities attracts migrant and students comes for education from all over India and abroad also, which makes for a Pune city has various of communities and cultures.





In Pune, most commonly spoken languages are Marathi, Hindi and English. Most hotel, restaurant, bank, shop/store, travel agency, etc. the all staff speak in English. Nowadays drivers, rickshaw drivers and fruit vendors are also have lot of knowledge of English. Pune offers a variety of Indian as well as world cuisine restaurants. All 5 star and budget Hotels in Pune also have international standard bars and specialty restaurants.






Pune is called as 'The Queen of Deccan' is a place of shopaholics heaven. In this city has many more beautiful shopping malls are located and to cater the shopping lover. Without shopping in Pune, visitor of this city will remain incomplete. The beautiful gardens in Pune serve as a entertaining spot for the folks of the city. Most of the gardens in Pune has provides peace and serenity that characterizes, most of them with the much-needed relief from the crowd and bustle of city life.

Pune is an important part of the Deccan Plateau and it is also an important city of Maharashtra famous for its rich heritage and culture. There has lot of tourist attraction from gardens to museums, and forts are unique attraction for tourist of Pune. A tour of Pune city of India is not complete without a visit to these some attraction.
