Shah Jahan, the Mughal emperor, after ruling from Agra for eleven years, who was decided to shift to Delhi and laid the foundation stone of the Red Fort in 1618.

Qutub Minar:

Qutub Minar is a 5 storied tower. Each tower of the popular Qutub Minar has unique designs. It is located in a Mehrauli in South Delhi. The construction of world famous towering Qutub Minar was started in 1192 by Qutub-ud-din Aibak. It is a fine example of the Indo-Islamic style of architecture. The balconies in Qutub tower are supported by exquisite stalactite designs. The conical tower has pointed and circular flutings on the first storey and star-shaped on the second and third stories.  




Lotus Temple:

Lotus Temple is popularly known as Baha’i Temple. This famous tourist attraction is one of the remarkable architectures of Bahai faith. It is situated at Kalkaji in New Delhi.
