The first theater of CP was Regal, which was opened in 1932 by Sir Sobha Singh. 

Plaza was came up in CP in the form of next theater in the year 1940, which was designed by Sir Rober Tor Russell. Odeon theater was built in 1945, second 70mm screen in Delhi after "Shiela Cinema" located in Paharganj. Rivoli theater is close to Regal and it was the smallest theater of the area. Plaza and Rivoli are now owned by multiplex giant PVR Cinemas as long as Odeon is a joint venture with Reliance Big Pictures.

Palika Bazaar

Palika Bazaar was established in the year 1978, it has a market and situated between the inner and outer circle of CP, New Delhi. The whole market, Palika Bazaar is fully air-conditioned and this is only underground market across the city, New Delhi. There are more than 400 shops crowd at one time under the lush green grassy square in Connaught Place.
