How to reach lotus Temple

Lotus temple is located in New Delhi, it has other name "Baha’i House of Worship" but Lotus Temple is popular name. Lotus Temple has inspired by beautiful Lotus flower. It’s design and construction made by Fariborz Sahba. It has including 27 free standing marble clad “Petals” arranged in clusters three to from nine sides. It is near about 6 KM away from Nizamuddin Railway Station. The time of Lotus Temple visiting for tourist is 9.00 am to 7.00 pm (April to September) and in winter (September to March) time is 9.30 am to 5.30 pm.  Monday is closed for everyone.

New Delhi is the Capital City of Indian Country. Delhi is beautiful place for tourist, there are lot of historical place. So, tourist and other people can direct go to Delhi by flights. You can find Lotus Temple via going to outer ring road or national highway No. 8. which is 24 KM from Delhi airport by car.

1. Turn right onto Airport Rd
     Pass by Defence Accounts Dept
2. Continue onto Swarna Jayanti Marg
3. Slight right
4. Continue straight
5. Slight right onto Chirag Delhi Flyover/Gamal Abdel Nasser Marg/Outer Ring Rd
6. Pass by Federal Bank Ltd
7.  Continue onto Outer Ring Road
 8. Turn left
9.  Lotus Temple
