Types
of Kumbh Mela
Kumbh Mela is having 5 types such as Maha Kumbh, Purn Kumbh, Ardh Kumbh, Kumbh
Mela, Magh Mela.
Maha
Kumbh : Maha Kumbh means that Kumbh Mela which is comes after every
12 Purn Kumbha i.e. it has come after 144 years, and Maha Kumbh Mela is only
held at Allahabad.
Purn
Kumbh : The Purn Kumbh Mela has to come after every 12 years and it
take at 4 places such as Haridwar, Ujjain, Allahabad and Nashik.
Ardh
Kumbh Mela : We should say half Kumbh mela it means Ardh
Kumbh Mela, it comes and celebrated in every six year, the Ardh Kumbh Mela is
held on two places like Allahabad and Haridwar.
Kumbh
Mela: It is come after every 3 years and places will be change by
rotation such as Nashik, Allahabad, Ujjiain and Haridwar.
Magh
Mela : This type of Kumbh Mela have come to every year except of
Ardh Kumbh and Kumbh Mela.

Where
is the Kumbh Mela 2013
The all types of Kumbh Mela takes place on a rotational
basis in four most holy Hindu places in India. on the banks of the Godavari
river in Nashik (Maharastra), the Shipra river in Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh
state, the Ganges river in Haridwar in the state of Uttarakhand, and
convergence of three rivers such as the Ganga, Sarswati and Yamuna rivers in
Allahabad (Prayag) in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
In 2013, The Kumbh Mela of this year will be held at
Allahabad (Prayag). The Kumbh Mela has comes after 3 years and this is being at
Allahabad.
The Next Kumbh Mela will be in the year of 2015 at place of
Nashik on the bank of river Godavari.
